Was easy to install, wish the protrusion was a bit bigger as I installed it on a padded dash. I added a metric shim to hold the vinyl in place. It was easy to connect, I chose to only turn on the light when the button is pressed, it looks clear. The only complaint was probably my user error, I plugged it in to work the way I wanted it to, but after installing the cables and having to remove them it was hard to tell where they went as the back of the dash didn't was available. Something to keep in mind next time. would recommend
