Strong aluminum stem is good for its rigidity but plastic ends can easily break. Be very careful when bending the bar into the desired shape. The plastic end of the anchor bracket splintered when I tried to bend the bar so it didn't get in the way of the seat. I used zip ties to hold it together and it worked. I combined the two mounting plates to allow the seat to still move forward. If you are only using the seat bolt anchor mount, the rod will prevent the seat from moving forward. By attaching the bottom attachment bracket to the seat bolt anchor bracket so that the stem is further forward, the seat can easily be adjusted forward. Even with the supplied pipe clamp, the attachment remains resilient. While the pipe clamp greatly reduces movement, depending on where you can mount it, it doesn't eliminate it entirely. My package was mislabeled: it was a phone holder, not a tablet holder, so Revain had already charged me for the cost instead of issuing a refund before it broke. So asking for a replacement is a trifle.
