I was nervous about previous reviews. The shelves came in larger boxes than expected. After unpacking it and putting it in the living room, I got very nervous. They didn't look too strong on the wooden floor. I didn't panic. I put the DVD and Blu-ray in from the bottom up. About 15 DVDs, the weight of the DVD and Blu-ray racks was heavy enough to make the racks stable. If I don't press them properly, the racks don't fall down. I love that this particular rack works with both DVD and Blu-ray. I would recommend this shelf to others. I bought another frame from Bestbuy, which was plastic and had to be assembled. It wasn't made by the same company. After, looking at all the plastic parts, I came to my senses and ordered these. Glad you did!
