I also had a problem with the sheet ripping when I took it out of the box and tried to attach it to my Swiffer mop. The quality of the sheet is nowhere near what I've often had in the past. It's not the smell of Murphy's oilseed soap. I think it could be fake, like someone folded up a cheap paper towel, refilled the pack, added some kind of solvent or chemical with water and just sealed it. Buyer warning! I will buy from a hardware store where I can open the seal and smell it first.
