So reading some of the reviews I almost had to laugh. People claim it was awful after trying 8 gauge wire for 1000 watts. A simple google search shows that 8 gauge shouldn't be more than 600 watts or so. I agree it's not exactly 8 gauge. But you get what you paid for. I hooked this up to a Kenwood speaker and combo amp and a Polk Audio speaker. The maximum power ranged from 350 to 400 watts. Works perfect. Everything installed according to the instructions with no problems. The fuse didn't melt, the wires didn't get hot. None of the reviews have happened to me so far. If you are looking for a low power system kit, I recommend this one. This is clearly not at a competitive or professional level. Don't be fooled by these other reviews.
