Review on Polder White Stopwatch and Clock Time by Victoria Smith

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It was the best of timers and the worst of timers.

A few minutes ago I bought my fifth of these although they are junk but I buy them hard because when they work they are incredibly comfortable. Pros: Having a timer, stopwatch, and countdown (and a watch!) in one sleek lanyard device is a boon to my work in a busy hospital — it reminds me of things to do, measuring the intervals between the drugs. , tea time, lunch break, frozen lasagna in the toaster etc lol. Cons: The battery compartment doesn't fit well, causing the damn thing to fall out. I lost one forever rendering the timer useless so I had to resort to gluing it out of the box. An ill-fitting lid also causes the device to occasionally lose power and restart unexpectedly with a series of beeps. If the device lives long enough, the strap will eventually wear out through the thin little section of plastic it hangs from. It's one of the most useful things I own if only the build quality wasn't so crappy. I almost never do this, but this time I buckled and bought a 4-year protection plan and I strongly encourage you to do the same.

Pros
  • Not only useful for its intended purpose
Cons
  • There are flaws
