Review on Maximize Your Strawberry Yield With Mr. Stacky'S 5-Tier Planter Pot - 5 Pots To Grow Even More! by Kevin Parker

good for er, strawberries

This is an easy way to grow strawberries. Very fun to have a different variety on each level. The clue is in the title though--strawberries. We tried growing mint in the top but it yearned to be free and had to be transplanted. We tried bell pepper and Japanese eggplant in the bottom, but it just isn't enough soil for them to grow and fruit in.I find it's not easy to keep it all hydrated, so next season I will have to come up with a dripper for each cell on each level and remove that hassle. I accidentally let a couple of plants dry out and die on two different occasions by not paying close attention. But properly watered, you'll be competing with the slugs for all your berries.

Pros
  • Allows you to experiment with different planting techniques, such as companion planting or intercropping
Cons
  • It can be difficult to plant seeds or propagate plants due to the narrow pot openings
