So I remember the days of RCA cables. They securely connected and worked. These optical cables are not that much. I bought a new 55 inch TCL TV. I rejoice in him; works great for me. But apparently these optical cables don't work with my TV. They certainly don't close securely like they should. ...They come loose and just don't work. I wiggled and squeezed it and pried open the damn little optical hatch on my TV. So of course I have to buy another cable and hot glue those damn things. ... Before you buy a TV, find out about its audio output. And buy the best optical cables you can and hope for the best. Wow, progress.
