Review on πŸ“€ Toshiba BDX2000KU Blu-ray Disc Player with 1080p Resolution by Major Lindsay

Best bang for the buck!

I've had this player for a few weeks now and I really like it. I tested it with Planet Earth BD and it loaded fairly quickly and plays beautifully. SD DVDs also load quickly and upconvert very well. I don't care that there is no Wi-Fi or Netflix streaming. I just want to be able to play Blu-ray discs and this is perfect. The Ethernet port and SD card slot are more than adequate for me. Please note that this device does not play Xvid format. You have to convert it to DivX, which is a bit annoying. The formats are very similar so I just don't understand why they didn't just add codecs for Xvid. This complaint is very minor as no Blu-ray player in this price range will play Xvid. My only real complaint is the remote's cheapness. Since I have a universal remote, I don't care. Overall, I highly recommend this Blu-ray player and consider it the best player in its price range. If you're patient, you can probably buy this for less than $100. I paid $79.
