I DO NOT drink water. However, as I attempted to live healthier lives, I knew it was important to increase my water intake. The problem is that our water is "tasty" and I literally held my breath drinking it like medicine. I really don't like that plastic taste and smell that comes from bottled water. After a lot of research, this Brita Lake model got a high score in terms of functionality, and the large 10-cup capacity turned out to be the best solution for me. I like the ease of filling straight from the tap. and it fits perfectly under my very small sink and shallow faucet. The slim design takes up little space in the refrigerator given the large capacity. And best of all: The water tastes exactly as it should. like nothing! I loved it so much I immediately bought a second one to give to my daughter.
