I have tried several phone mounts on boats with no success. This is the ONLY mount I have found that actually works on any type of boat surface. I use an app on my phone to navigate local waterways - I need something that can hold my phone so I can see the screen while navigating. I have used this on pontoon boats, deck boats, bow riders and center consoles. It works flawlessly every time. I've tried several less expensive and highly rated phone mounts - none of them will fit every boat. This mount is definitely worth the money if you need a phone holder for working on a boat. I'm sure this mount will work - you can use it anywhere.
