Review on πŸš— Genesis GBS321A 3 Inch 21 Inch Variable: Superior Versatility and Precision by Ian Bates

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Great value for money but there are quirks.

First the PLUS POINTS. The straps are easy to install and stay aligned. Adjustable handle is good. The price for the 3x21 model is sweet. Now CONS. Poorly placed electrical weasel wire. Genesis could have put a stand on the back to keep the belt from sucking it in. Believe me. You could make the cable stiffer to allow it to move to the grinder. I glued a metal hanger to mine to keep it away from the mill. The dust collector and ventilation are very poor. Filled the first time and then jammed. So after a short period of use I blew it out with my wet vacuum cleaner. So put on your mask and throw away the bag. By the way, I'm not sure if this model has an overheating sensor, but the performance is adjusted when overheating. At least I have. The small guard at the front of the grinder could be longer to act like a real guard and should lift easily. if you need. It does neither. Finally, ditch the orange 16-gauge extension you buy at your home depot for $10 a mile. This grinder uses electricity and melted my cord. Go to the 14 gauge husky (red) to get the job done.

Pros
  • CONTROL - Adjustable front handle for comfort and control, flat side for tight, flush sanding | Sand exterior and interior doors, door jambs, cabinet surfaces and doors, and wood railings to prevent chipping and prep for painting or staining!
Cons
  • A few little things
