Review on 🐠 Carib Sea Ocean Direct Natural Live Sand for Aquarium, 40 pounds, ACS00940 by Sondra Sikes

I have bought many sandbags for my many African cichlid tanks and have never been disappointed with this brand. It's the perfect weight that doesn't blow easily but is soft and all my Africans love to sift and dig in. I personally wash it several times in a 5g bucket of water until the water runs clear and then put it in the tank. The maximum time required to clear cloud cover (if any) is a few hours. I suspect others who have had problems have either not flushed this stage or its filtration is inadequate. Regardless, don't rely on packages to do anything.
