When I got this funnel it was on a whim because everyone knows when it comes to hoppers you think of the big players like Justrite, Polymax and Americraft. These brands make great funnels, but I think what really shines about this Lumax is the angle of the wall relative to the spigot. You see where your typical Justrite 18 oz. or Wirthco 17oz 160º - 165º, Lumax LX-1602 16oz. reaches 158º, which as you can imagine is quite a significant improvement. What you sacrifice a few ounces of total volume for, you get performance in return. This beauty propels lower-viscosity liquids through the stratosphere like an oil-lubricated rocket. But where this black beauty really shines is in higher viscosity fluids: crankcase oil, gear oils and transmission fluids. :• Justrite 18oz. - 13.44 seconds • Americraft 20 oz. - 14.44 • Wirthco 17 oz. - 15.52• Lumax LX-1602 16 oz. - 11.8911.89 seconds guys! Can you believe it? That's a quart of oil in my engine in less time than it takes to pour half a pint of two-stroke gas into my weed. I expected to win but never imagined such brilliant performance combined with excellent value for money. You really will never find a thinner funnel for less than $5. Heck, dare I say this bad boy can stand up to some of the more exotic silicone and polyvinyl based funnels that start at around $8 and go up from there. I cannot stress the value of this enough and will be buying many, many more. 5 stars all day.
