I used this probe to measure the temperature at the top of a column. Worked great three times I used it. Yesterday I used this probe again and it didn't work. Controller Error Code: Open circuit to sensor. I checked with a meter and it was open between the + wire and the two - wires. Further investigation by opening the wires and found that both wires between the probe and connector were broken. The cable is very poorly made. This cable looked great with a braided stainless steel finish and should stand the test before it fails. You get what you paid for. We are looking for another manufacturer.
