is great for keeping a room with really clean air. I'm honestly amazed. I recently bought an air quality monitor for my room so I could test this air purifier with it. Outside of my comfort zone, the PM2.5 in my room ranged from 50-130 depending on the day. After running the air purifier on the ionization feature overnight, the number was literally 0-3. I'm not kidding, I was personally shocked by this. I've found the air in the room I use this to be noticeably better. This room smells better and cleaner, more odorless than anything else. I love it. It has an air ionization feature that helps capture particles from the air. It's optional, but I see no reason to turn it off. You also get 3 different fan settings with this device. I use it on medium settings and it's almost silent. Wi-Fi control is technically optional, but you may need it at some point. Without turning on Wi-Fi controls in the app, this thing on top keeps flashing red and blue. During the day it's not a problem at all. However, it can keep you up at night if like me you're sensitive to light. I ended up having to put something on top of the LEDs as they were too bright for me. The benefit of the app is that you can set timers for the air purifier, which is a very nice touch. It also allows you to view indoor PM2.5 levels. It also shows you the status of your filter, which is nice. So you don't have to guess when to replace it. This should last between 3 and 6 months depending on usage and how dirty your air is. For me, the app is a big bone of contention, and it's specifically an Android app. First, it was released in 2020 and only has "100+" unrated downloads according to Google. It wouldn't be a big deal to me, but the permissions the app asks for are a bit overbearing too. It requires the following permissions, which are too big for me for the app that controls my air purifier. Change location, camera (take pictures), microphone (record sound), sound settings. There are other permissions it doesn't need, but these are the most obvious. This is usually due to lazy app development, they don't need these permissions but haven't bothered to remove them. Apart from the app and wifi control, I love this air purifier. It worked better than I expected. My main wish is that I can turn off all the LEDs upstairs so it doesn't cause as much light pollution in my room when I'm trying to sleep. I can handle it because otherwise it seems to work so well.
