Review on Blum Hinge Angle Restriction Clip by Lucas Rowe

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Well they seem to be working.

Better than nothing, but don't restrict door/hinge movement too much. The handle is still tapping the mirror as "stop" is not positive. I have 5 hinges and 5 stop clips and - although better than nothing - the doorknob still bangs against the wall (and it shouldn't be when they actually stop the door at 86 degrees). My setup still needs a margin of 1″+, but the door can move beyond that when you open it like most people open a closet door. If you move slowly, you are golden. If you just open it, it's not that much. Just set expectations for the next person who buys them. They're not difficult to install (you'll have to remove the door from the closet) and they won't "break" when properly installed or fall out (they have ears to hold them to the hinge mechanism). They're just soft plastic. If you need lots of these, there are cheaper alternatives online. Since I only needed two more I decided to go this route. If I needed a bunch I would buy in bulk for not much more than I paid for the 5 I have (I got them for 0 each, $60 found in batches of 100).
