Clips work well if you know how to install them

There are many negative reviews of these closet liner clips which seem to stem from a lack of knowledge about their installation. The company doesn't provide instructions and the youtube video I watched left out the important part of using a vice or large pair of pliers to insert the clamp into the slot. I couldn't just use my hand or a screwdriver to insert the clamps. Be sure to place a towel or cloth over the tongs to avoid scratching the front of the cabinet door.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Minor issues

GREAT. Why doesn't IKEA sell them!

It worked exactly as advertised. Used on Ikea kitchen cabinets. Surprisingly, Ikea doesn't sell 90 degree hinges, and 110 degree hinges are the closest. This means your cabin door/handle will hit an adjacent cabinet/appliance or in my case glass cabin doors in tight spaces, corners or near equipment. Only doors removed, hung, reinstalled and 86 degrees, no broken glass or scratched appliances. There are no installation instructions, but you can search YouTube. One broke due to improper…

Sometimes works for loops

I have mixed reviews for these clips. I ordered two to try and if they work I would order more. I have several cabinets with hinges that open too far and I didn't want the doors to hit other doors or the wall. I ordered the clamps and read the installation instructions. One of the clips installed well and is still working after using the cabinet for a few weeks. Unfortunately, the other clip broke almost immediately. As these clips are not cheap being just a small piece of plastic I decided not

Works permanently

Worked for our clip with soft closing loops but they were a bit tight so we had to use a tiny file to open up the area in where you place the clip and then gently push until it's tight and then take the back of the table knife and slide it all the way in. Use tweezers or small needle nose pliers to hold the clamp as it is very small. Also a magnifying glass and good light. The clamp was fairly tight but we put it in and it worked to limit the opening to 85 degrees. Prevents cabinet doors from…

Pros
  • Handy thing

  • I don't really like it, it's ok

SUPER EASY if you have the right hinge and know what you are doing!

I bought this 110 degree Blum hinge installation clip and it works like a charm. I'm laughing now at all the bad reviews about this product. According to the description, it is a specific Blum hinge. If you buy it hoping it will work with another hinge and it doesn't, why leave a bad review? And if you have trouble using this hinge, you must install it incorrectly. Instructions come with this product - I will provide it to you. And it's not necessarily obvious where he should go just by looking

Well they seem to be working.

Better than nothing, but don't restrict door/hinge movement too much. The handle is still tapping the mirror as "stop" is not positive. I have 5 hinges and 5 stop clips and - although better than nothing - the doorknob still bangs against the wall (and it shouldn't be when they actually stop the door at 86 degrees). My setup still needs a margin of 1″+, but the door can move beyond that when you open it like most people open a closet door. If you move slowly, you are golden. If you just open…
