This was a turning point for us after we finally got our ice machine up and running. We went back to the old fashioned ice cube trays and quickly remembered why we rushed to the fridge with built in ice maker. I needed a quick fix and ordered these trays and damn I love them! They freeze quickly, are easy to remove and the lids make assembly easier. I plan to order another set soon. A few tips for success: Don't overfill these bowls. If the water level rises so much that all the individual cubes become one big mass of ice, you're going to be miserable. In addition, the lids are designed to keep freezer odors and accidental debris away from your cubes and make stacking easier. They are not splashproof. Treating them like they're leak proof will make you feel bad. All in all these are amazing tablets for the price. Absolutely to recommend.
