I have been using CeraVe Cleansing Gel for normal to oily skin for a long, long time. So long that I already got tired of it, in the sense I already want something new, but it still does not end ... And all because I bought it, like everything I do - from the heart - immediately a large bottle of 355 ml (12 fl oz). I bought it on this wonderful site, unfortunately at the moment it is no longer sold there, but CeraVe products are now available in almost every pharmacy and cosmetic store, so if you want to buy, it will not be difficult to find and buy. Since I ordered it abroad, there is, of course, no Russian-language information on my bottle. The description stated that this product was developed in conjunction with dermatologists, and also approved by their local (American) eczema association. I don’t even know if we have such narrowly focused societies. But having a skin that was somewhat problematic in terms of sensitivity to various substances, this calmed me down a bit and this was the decisive factor when choosing this particular gel from several different ones. The manufacturer also promises that the ceramides included in the composition will help restore the protective layer of the skin. Niacinamide will help the production of natural ceramides, and hyaluronic acid will attract and retain the moisture it needs. That is, it turns out not just cleansing, but also good skin care and restoration. However, the long composition turned out to be not ideal, along with the promised useful components, there is also something that many try to avoid or minimize their contact with their skin, for example, parabens, even two. This doesn’t really bother me because I don’t soak my face in this cleanser, but wash mine off immediately, and wash it off under running water in the shower, so I don’t even doubt that I remove it qualitatively. It is easy to use, wet the skin, apply the gel, massage a little and rinse. That's what it says on the package. But I want to give you good advice: DO NOT apply GEL to the skin, squeeze it into the palm of your hand, lather a little, rub it between your palms and apply this foam to the skin, so the consumption will be more economical and apply evenly and then it will be easier to wash off. The bottle is moderately convenient. I have no complaints about the dispenser, from the first day and until now (for at least a year) it has been working properly, you can dose it so that small droplets are squeezed out, or you can squeeze out a lot at once, this is if you decide to use it as a gel for soul. For me, the shape of the bottle turned out to be a little inconvenient - flat and tall, it stands on my shelf in the shower room and when you press the dispenser with one hand, the bottle often falls. Have to hold on. The CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser for Normal to Oily Skin gel itself is completely colorless, of medium thickness, even closer to liquid, despite this it is VERY economically consumed, since just two drops are enough to wash your face. Another big plus (especially for me) of THIS washing gel is that it is odorless! In principle, I can tolerate if a cosmetic product has some kind of light, unobtrusive aroma, but almost any fragrance in cosmetics is just an extra chemistry that only embellishes the product, but this does not affect its quality or properties. And sometimes there are such knocking aromas... Therefore, the complete absence of smell is a plus. The gel foams perfectly, the foam is light, not dense, but completely sufficient for high-quality washing. In addition, I use this gel also not quite for its intended purpose. I wash off their makeup and not only powder or foundation, but also mascara-shadows, and in this case I put a little gel on a damp cotton pad and wash it off by analogy with products that are specifically designed for this. I won’t say anything about waterproof cosmetics because I don’t use such, but this gel removes ordinary cosmetics perfectly, cleanly, does not smear. My skin on my face is combination, somewhere oily, somewhere dry, for all the long time of use I have never noticed that after washing it starts to peel off, blush or there are some unpleasant sensations. Of course, as after any contact with water, after washing with Cera Vee gel, the sensations on the face are not the same as after using the cream, but there is nothing extraordinary either. The skin is cleansed well and after washing is ready for further care. I even began to use different masks and scrubs less because the use of this gel turned out to be enough for me. I recommend to buy.
