The starter failed after a few months
While the starter itself is just as easy to install and adjust, it only lasted a few months. I racked my brains trying to figure out why the car was having so many starting problems (again) and replaced a few other things, finally I decided to replace the starter with one from Autozone which has a lifetime warranty and now I didn't ask any questions. So in the end it was easy to install and relatively inexpensive, which ended up giving me more of a headache.
