Review on Walkie-talkie Baofeng UV-82 (2 power modes) by Nguyn Trn Trung Qun ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I really like the product, it fully meets my expectations.

Using the "proprietary" Vertex and "Chinese" kenwood for several years, I bought a baofeng-82. I took it in a store that is cheaper and nearby. Frightened by reports about "these are cheap 1.5-cotton fakes, real 5-8-cotton jackets are expensive here" went to the Tsaritsyno market to check. They measured it with different antennas - it's the same thing, something about 4-5 watts. Which indirectly confirms both the information on the forums about "the Chinese have finally made a good native antenna", and the messages about "all bao-82s are the same, sellers' stories about" fakes, low power, etc. "from competitors are nothing more than" divorce to justify its high price. I like to listen to the radio on the radio. If the Chinese kenwood caught without interference only in one room, on the window, strictly in one position, then the baofeng was very pleased - the reception quality is much better, you can even wander around the apartment. Apparently, again the merit of an improved antenna. Battery. Claimed 2800 mAh. The battery is tiny and weighs 80 grams. In comparison, the 1200 mAh battery of the branded Vertex is much healthier and weighs 180 grams. It seems that the messages on the forums about the "real" battery capacity within 1400 mAh are completely true. Charger. The power supply, plugged into the socket, shines with a bright red (typically "Chinese") LED. And the empty glass of charging flashes red-green light - a purely police chandelier. Doing something like this is incomprehensible. The glass weighs 40 grams (the old Chinese has 80). The power supply is almost weightless - the same 40 grams (for the old 200). In general, in this area, the Chinese have learned to save a lot in a couple of years. At work. Works. Where the vertex with the kenwood "interferes" (city, several km of sparse buildings), Bao also has interference there. I believe the tests on the Internet are true. I did not take measurements "on this one you can make out 2 more words at a distance of 20 steps further." PS. Typically, sellers remove the headset included with the walkie-talkie and sell it separately. Keep in mind. A separate plus zonagsm - do not indulge. Satisfied.

Pros
  • Price. Works. Light. Good radio reception. Flashlight.
Cons
  • Light-music of LEDs on the power supply and charging glass Blatant deception with the battery capacity.
