Installed on my 2012 4WD V6 Escape. The final year of style and the pinnacle of Escapes. :) Anyway, I use a scooter/wheelchair carrier in the rear and the new one I bought lowered the truck a bit due to the weight of the tow bar. My brother installed it with my help and we also drilled a new pin hole in the receiver to move it around a bit to reduce the weight of the tongue. Wow, airbags are amazing! At 25 or 30 pounds the truck doesn't sag or hang on the rear at all and drives like a dream! Without pulling out the power seat I lowered the pressure to 15 and it handles really well and feels more powerful and stable through corners and the like. It's hard to explain, but it's stabilizing a bit. Don't think it took 1 hour to install, we worked 3 or 4 hours on a nearly new car. Mileage 10,000, stored in garage. If you had a car lift and everything came ready to install, you could do it faster, but it would still take some time. The learning curve is very quick, once you complete one side the other part will go quickly. I bought a good brass tee with threaded fittings, some crappy plastic tee they give you. And you will need more and longer cable ties than they provide. The hoses and airbags appear to be of very good quality. I hope they survive the overtime, we'll have to see.
