Great Quality: Air Spring Kits

It was very easy to set up and install, THOUGH I replaced them when I changed the coils anyway! If I were to attempt to install the springs still suspended, I think the "simple" task of deflating and twisting them in coils would be quite difficult. Also, drilling holes from below seems pretty silly, but still. They're actually quite nice and in combination with the lowered springs they completely changed the handling.

Item looks good but description is missing important information

Everything seemed fine until I discovered I had to drill a large hole in the bottom of the wishbone for each wheel. This would have been too much of a challenge for my Escape 12, which was raised due to lack of access to an elevator. The product comes with everything needed for installation if I could drill a hole. The problem with jumping a hole is that this control lever can jump up and crush the brass fitting at the end of the bag, damaging the bag and losing pressure. This seems easily…

Good product.

I bought this product for my 2009 Ford Escape and I am happy with it so far, however some materials were of poor quality and in small quantity. The spring clips were junk and very fragile. No matter how careful I was, they broke as soon as they were expanded enough to slip over the hose/coupling junction. Also, cheap white plastic t-shirts are likely to fail over time, we'll see. Brass tees work best. Also, you'd better plan ahead when laying tubes, or they'll leak. I think after routing the…

Good product - plenty of time to install

Airlift arrived on time, looks good and works as advertised. For that I give 5 stars. But… here on Revain and other sites, the installation is only supposed to take an hour. Some even claim that drilling is not required. Believe me, even with a fully equipped car service, it takes several hours. And you need to drill the hose exit through the bottom of the spring seat. drilling required. The hardest part of this whole installation was without a doubt removing the bumper from the bumper bracket…

Airbags are amazing! At 25 or 30 pounds, the truck won't do.

Installed on my 2012 4WD V6 Escape. The final year of style and the pinnacle of Escapes. :) Anyway, I use a scooter/wheelchair carrier in the rear and the new one I bought lowered the truck a bit due to the weight of the tow bar. My brother installed it with my help and we also drilled a new pin hole in the receiver to move it around a bit to reduce the weight of the tongue. Wow, airbags are amazing! At 25 or 30 pounds the truck doesn't sag or hang on the rear at all and drives like a dream…
