This is a very good set of *hooks* but they are NOT knitting needles. In the title they are called knitting needles, which you can clearly see that they are not shown in the photos. These crochet hooks are beautiful and of pretty good quality. They are quite strong and should last a while with regular use. The variety of sizes is perfect for beginners as you have sizes for almost anything you want to try. My kit was hanging around in the box which was a bit annoying but all the needles were in place so everything was fine. They came in a small plastic bag that wasn't sealed properly so they were loose in the box.
