I replaced the single trash can with this version, because it took me a week to fill the trash bin and it stunk. This allowes me to fill it faster. Recently I've swapped the bins' purposes and use the blue bin for trash. This is ideal for me as I compost and that reduces my trash substantially. Because I empty my trash every other day, these liners work. BUT! When I take out the trash, I sometimes pull out the entire thing, can and all, and take it to the outside can. For me, it's worth the savings because the SH bags are pricey. But this practice my not be for everyone.
