Grundfos 1/25 HP circulating pump The Comfort series is a good solution for a home that takes a long time to get hot water. I have installed many of these systems over the years and they perform adequately. Installation is easy. Simply disconnect the flexible hot water hose on the outlet side of the water heater. Insert the pump and reconnect the water inlet hose. Place the thermostatic tee under the device that takes the longest to heat the water and reconnect to the device. Make sure the inlet and outlet are positioned correctly on the tee. It is clearly marked. Then make sure you blow all the air out of the line by opening some hot water faucets. This protects the pump from failure due to air in the pump impellers. Then plug it in and set the timer as you wish, or just leave the pump on.
