Works with Solid State SSD

This review focuses on the Geekworm T300 SSD Expansion Board for the Jetson Nano. I used this with a SATA to mSATA adapter (similar to: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007PPZ2I8) and a 250GB mSATA SSD which worked cool and fast enough (240MB /sIIRC). I think any SSD should work just fine. My main goal was to use it for the paging file instead of using a slow microsd card. It's also nice to have a workspace separate from the operating system on a microsd as the main directory. It comes with hardware, screws, standoffs, etc. and a USB3 jumper (USB-A to USB-A) from Nano to Expansion Board. It includes a Y power cable which I didn't use for two reasons. First, the USB3 interface provided enough power for the SSD, eliminating the need for a separate power input for the expansion card. Second, and my only complaint, is that the power Y-cable's plug is 2.5mm in diameter and doesn't fit the Nano's 2.1mm ID plug. So if you already have a 5V 4A power supply for the Nano it will not work as a Y-cable input. You will need to purchase a 2.1mm to 2.5mm adapter or a new power adapter with a 2.5mm plug. This is not fatal, just annoying and not a problem here either if you use an SSD without a Y-cable.
