Took over an hour to install. The instructions provided are unique to another fan. The fan is not intended for remote control. A remote control is provided instead. This is a separate installation. The "Easy Kit" is a flexible LED circuit board that is attached to the underside of the fan with magnets. The magnets sit on the uneven part of the fan so they wobble. The LED power supply is also a separate box that attaches to the underside of the fan with a magnet. Just find a place and stick it there. The fan was missing a screw so the light didn't attach properly to the fan, but I found a screw in the garage that worked and pushed it in. After installation, I pressed the lighting button on the control panel. Remote control. GDP! TERRIBLE! SHRIEL! Every time you press a button on the remote, the fan beeps loud enough to wake someone from a deep sleep. The light has 3 light color settings. The only way to switch between colors is with the power button. Yes that's right. Each time you press the power button, the indicator lights up in a different color. You want bright white? Three power cycles, three beeps. Yours is bright white. Next time you need bright white. Three more power cycles and three more beeps. The dumbest design ever. I called support and got voicemail. Multiple times. Send this junk back.
