It gives me such a great field of vision. I live in an area with very narrow streets, lots of cyclists and crazy drivers who don't use signals. It was important to me to protect myself and others on the road. My car has all the new safety tech, but those little mirrors saved me from a nasty side impact on the freeway from a lane skipper when the safety mirror sensors warned me too late. If I hadn't had that mirror, I never would have seen her coming. I love all the new technology in cars but you still have to be vigilant behind the wheel because it only takes one idiot in the car to ruin someone's life.
