1. I use a bottle brush that spins when you get to the bottom of the swab. With a little dish soap, they're easy to clean, even if the cupcakes get sticky!2. I haven't noticed any thickness issues. They're extremely flexible, so don't think you can lift a pan that's only supported on one side or end.3. I made 2 batches of cupcakes (different recipes), one batch with cooking spray, one batch without. The recipe, which was cooked properly and had a sprayer, literally made the cupcakes fall out of the cupcake pan. For another sticky one, the cupcakes stuck to the pan. It was easier to pick them out with a spoon. They came out easier as I chilled the pan.
