This basket works as it should and fits into your computer almost as snugly as a standard CD drive. I was able to remove the front bezel from the CD drive and put it on the hard drive cage (don't be afraid to break the bezel, it will come loose). That makes it perfect for my laptop (y410p). A good buy if you are replacing the HDD with an SSD - the computer FLYS and you have all your old storage.
