Review on 🐠 Qguai Aquarium Thermometer: LCD Digital Fish Tank Thermometer for Saltwater, Freshwater, and Reef Aquariums - Clear Screen, C/F Switch, Wire-Free Temperature Monitoring by Patricia Davis

Inaccurate readings are difficult to read

If you don't have a light background for this, be it your rocks, aquascape or the real background behind your aquarium, you won't be able to read the numbers easily. The most annoying thing is that I tested this with my current decal, digital probe and Hannah's salinity kit. The digital readout and Hannah show the same temperature of 81.1f, the sticker is at 81 and this Qguai shows between 77.1 and 79.9 and it fluctuates and only changes throughout the day while the digital readout remains a stable 81 .0-81.2 indicates what my heaters are set to 81. Half a degree F would be acceptable, but if you're trying to keep the temperature at 81, it just won't work. Would be great for a colder water aquarium like goldfish or guppies and I would recommend it there as you would likely have a light background to look through the clear display to make the numbers easier to read. I will try to return as this article is not accurate and does not show the real meaning of what to do with my naval tank. Please note this item is an external monitor with a foam sticker around a metal thermometer that is pressed against your tank.
