UPDATE JANUARY 25, 2014 The internet speed is terrible and it's not a problem with my modem because when I connect directly to my modem everything is fine and I have a constant and stable Speed. I will update this review if I find a solution. This is a dual band AC router. The range of this router is not as good as I expected. I have a 3 story townhouse of about 1400 square feet. I was expecting this router to cover the whole house, but it doesn't. Another problem I have with this router is that sometimes I lose connection to my devices and the only way to get them back is to restart the router. This applies to my laptops and my mobile devices. Aside from these two issues, the router works as it should. However, I'm frustrated with the two issues above. I would hope that an expensive router does not have these problems. While I'm at it Technical support really sucks! I'm not a networking expert, but I'm very good at it. It can be very frustrating when you have to speak to a support agent who doesn't know as much as I do. Technical support is not located in the United States and the agents will only read you what is on their screen. It's difficult to have a normal conversation with them. That's my five cents. Good luck with your router purchase.
