Our Charlie is 18+, he is still a complete house cat, has never worn a harness or collar. We travel with him and decided it would be best to teach him to be a little more worldly. It weighs about 11 pounds and was exactly the same size as the medium. He will wear it in the car and on the toilet as well as in the hotel room. He adjusted well and didn't try to break away from it. A friendly, genuine gentleman, we think he looks great in it and does a very good job of the training process. We give him a treat when we put it in and he takes it well. As an older cat, we wanted something comfortable for him and something cute for us. That fits the bill. Now he wears it a few hours a day to prepare for our 15 hour journey. He walks easily in it and has good freedom of movement.
