Review on πŸ”¨ BOSTITCH SBCAPS 1000 Staple Nailer by Sean Garrison

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best clamp caps you can buy.

Having used both Bostitch and Hitachi cap staplers I can safely say that Bostitch cap staplers are the best. They work seamlessly with the Bostitch stapler, are easy to load and inexpensive. Not only do Hitachi caps sometimes break, they sometimes don't come off the reel easily. Bostitch caps never tear and fit the stick individually. However, the biggest benefit I've found is that you can slip the stick into a nail pouch and clip off individual caps to use with a standard stapler. Often you will find that your cap stapler is not suitable for the spot where you want to place the staple and a smaller stapler will do. This is particularly useful when hanging insulation in tight spaces. By holding the cap while stapling, you can prevent the staple from tearing through the insulating pad. (Of course, if the tacker's nose is on the cap, you'll have to wiggle your finger before you pull the trigger.) Bostitch caps are also good for nails. They're just made of a harder plastic than caps. Therefore, not only are Bostitch caps more versatile, but the staples never break. While they're a bit more expensive than roll-on lids, they're generally better value for money. Especially if you need to hold the tacker cap when using a standard tacker or staple gun. If you have a Bostitch cap stapler, these caps are your only choice. If you don't have a lid stapler, you can use these lids individually with any stapler. Either way, these are the best caps you can buy.
