I got it and at first it didn't work at all. I followed YouTube's instruction, where the guy said to first take out the batteries, then vigorously shake the remote up and down and side to side, then press absolutely every button, then shake and press each button again. Then put the batteries back in and press the button and the home button and check the other buttons. It worked. Everything works. This was explained by the fact that the box shakes violently during transport, and most likely some connections have shifted, etc. You just have to put everything in place. Everything works fine, just needs to be pointed at the TV.
