This works great on laptops.
This works great on laptops if you only have 2 USB ports and need to host a large class reunion with ring lights, an external webcam and of course an external mouse for convenience. I like that you have an on/off switch for each port and the LED doesn't stay on all the time even when the device is off like other brands. I also connect a bluetooth microphone and external speaker to it when my computer is not in use. So far so good, I've had it for about a month now. HOORAY!
