Attention! This item is NOT AWG. I bought an 8 gauge set and upon inspection found that it is actually closer to 12 gauge. This company distorts their sensors on the wiring. I'm an electrician and if I were to use this on an amp that requires an 8 gauge primary wire it would probably set my car on fire because the fuse they supply is too high for the actual wire gauge. They measure the diameter of the entire wire, INCLUDING the plastic jacket, as you DO NOT measure the wire, and are AWG compliant. So be VERY VERY careful when using this brand. Revain has been contacted for a refund and an investigation into the misrepresentation of these items in the listings of these bundles. Be safe and pay a few bucks more for an AWG-rated amplifier kit cable.
