I tried this in one of my females' enclosures to allow her to dig to let us know if she is going to lay. My biggest fear was egg laying and that she wouldn't be able to burrow anywhere and that we might be able to put her in a laying box. We have some large rocks and branches in her enclosure as well as some very large reptile feeding stones to avoid collisions. She likes it a lot, now she is a bit more active because she can dig/dig as she pleases. However, it is not recommended for young bearded dragons.
