This skimmer was a great purchase. And the price was way better than the big brands you've all heard about from other vendors and YouTube videos. I've had a few and this thing gushes out the most disgusting thick manure I've ever tasted. If your aquarium is new and you're not getting much, give it time. When your tank is out of a new stage and you keep adding more fish, this thing takes over. My phosphates are 0 from day one and I rest often. I use it on my 50 gallon mixes with a 2 gallon sump. I love it so much I'm about to buy a bigger one for my 216 gallon tank I'm putting up. Good job simplicity.
