I was afraid the boots would be heavy, but they are extremely light. They are also very warm and feel like they have a good cushion on the bottom. I haven't taken them out into the snow/slush yet, but I have worn them in some frigid temperatures and I even boasted to my kids they were the best boots I have owned. and I have paid a fortune for some boots before. These are a steal. I would have given them a 5-star rating, but the shoelaces they put with them are SUPER CHEAP and broke on the first pull. But I ordered some cinch-up laces and they work great. I just ordered a second pair so I have another when these wear out. never done that before.
