Used cotton paper instead of cellulose sketchbooks for the first time. I love that it doesn't roll and can be further wet and layered as needed. I went on my hike with a slate bag and field case. Lays flat (unlike other character pads). A real pleasure to draw. Also works great with watercolor pencils and watercolor markers. I haven't tried alcohol markers yet. The smallest just fits perfectly in my pocket. I have a feeling the white cap will get dirty over time with outdoor use. But hey. If it stops raining now I can go and fill it up until the end of the summer. My only problem is that in addition to my sketch, I write down the date and a little story. Writing with pens and markers is not so good. I contacted Ethr and they said to try gel pens, they work better with cotton. Went out to get something.
