Leviton connectors are awesome! I cut the ends of all my 220 VAC appliances and replaced them with these plugs (20 amp plugs for 20 amp machines and 30 amp plugs for 30 amp cars). The twist-lock feature prevents the connector from coming loose at the wrong time, and I can also use it on ceiling outlets to keep dangling cords from coming loose. The twist-lock feature also prevents the pins from bending as easily as regular connectors. It also provides reliable plug contact and eliminates the possibility of electric shock if the pin is accidentally touched during connection or disconnection. It's easy to install wires and has very durable parts. It comes with two different sizes of grippers. to accommodate cables of different sizes. In some wiring situations I was able to mix and match cable clips to get the perfect fit. They outlast any conventional plug type.
