I have a Trek Madone 5.2 and broke my wrist a few years ago, the steering wheel is causing me some discomfort now on my broken wrist. With a good pair of padded cycling gloves and those gel strips under the padded handlebar pads, I no longer experience wrist fatigue/pain. Without gel and with "medium" bandages on the steering wheel, my wrist hurt a lot. Although my steering wheel is quite thick now; and you need to wrap well to properly wrap the handlebars with that extra padding underneath; Your bandage will be too short if you don't stretch it properly. They're probably only good for one wrap; So make sure you get it right as sitting on the bike for a while and then trying to pull them out from under the foil will damage them.
