I have a 2005 Dodge Caravan - I wanted to take the initiative and change the rear shock absorbers. I went with Monroe. Big mistake. Both shock absorbers failed after a few months. I was in North Carolina with relatives and replaced them with Monroe again, thinking it was just bad luck. One of the dampers failed so badly on the 800-mile return trip that a mounting bolt was bent. It's awful - I replaced both with Gabriel for a few bucks more and they work great now. much tighter than those crappy shock absorbers - stay away from Monroe. I have to charge them for having to re-weld the top of the bracket.
