Review on 🦅 Sram NX Eagle 12-Speed Cassette: Unleashing Superior Performance by Alexander Craner

This cassette gave me the opportunity to upgrade my old MTB 2x10 to 1x12spd. I've been looking at this option for a while, but didn't want to switch from a driver body to an XD driver body. When I saw that this 12 speed cassette was available for the 'regular' HG hub shell I started optimizing my upgrade. The only downside to this cassette running on an HG hub is the lack of a 10t gearing. That didn't bother me as I would never need such a high gear on my MTB. I have a 36 tooth sprocket, a SRAM AXS 12 speed gearbox + derailleur and this cassette. The combination worked very well and I am happy with the work of the shift. Keep in mind that I've worked in technology for about 10 years, from my original 2011 SRAM X9 10spd to this new combo. It's only been installed for about 3 weeks so can't comment on durability but so far so good. Definitely recommend this option to anyone looking to upgrade a free hub HG wheel to 12 speed.
