got a new ignition lock cylinder in 2013 with warranty replacement. The dealer only gave me 1 key as I could only find 1 original key for them. Lost this keyless with a car resistor but have only used spare keys for years with no problems. Recently the car decided not to use it anymore (maybe a new battery change). I've tried all 15 bypass resistors to solve the VAT problem, to no avail. Launched and worked for 1 second. before shutting off the fuel supply. A simple replacement of the lock solved the problem. Now I need 2 keys, old doors and a new ignition? Works great so no complaints!
