Review on Bosch Automotive 80028/0250202022 Duraterm Glow Plug: Superior Performance and Durability for Efficient Ignition by Pavel Craig

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Starts much better in cold weather and is easy to change

After one of the glow plugs on my '02 TDI caught fire I decided to buy four of them and replace them all at once. The wiring harness requires little effort to move it far enough to replace the glow plugs. All you need is a 10mm deep socket, a wrench and maybe some extensions and links, getting to the two in the middle is a bit more difficult due to the harsh lines. . They can be easily screwed in and out. Mine, which came out of my car, had quite a bit of soot on it, so be careful when removing it and try not to get all that dirt into the cylinders. But after turning off the glow plugs and turning the wiring harness back on, I cleared the fault codes and the CEL stopped showing, now the engine starts much better. They work great.
