I read the reviews where it was helpful and wasn't sure if I should order blue, yellow or black hardness. I settled on the softer (blue) 1000lbs and since I got them I've known I wasn't going to install the 1" washer that comes with the kit, I just install a base plate with rubber and yes, a bit trickier Go to one side of the screws to install them but it wasn't a big deal. Took me no more than 20 minutes without an extra charge, the rubbers weren't touching so it didn't affect driving. When I hitched up and towed my camper it didn't go as far as it used to and there were enough of them to offset the weight and I think they drove even better with them!
